Efficiency : Supplied with a neck strap, the Splice 1 fibre fusion splicer can be used both for working at height (on a telecom pole or a cell tower) and in standing position, in case there is no working tray on the jobsite. The position of this strap has been specifically studied to provide a solution to a field issue: when the neck strap is attached at the middle of the splicing machine this hinders field engineers in placing the optical fibre into the machine. With Splice 1 TED® fusion splicer, connectivity operations run out smoothly as the neck strap is attached comfortably towards the rear side of the splicing machine, giving thus users a greater freedom of movement.
