What are cable tie mounts? How to install cable ties and clips?

Cable tie mounts enable cable clips to be attached by the handles to hold the cables and wires in place. There are different types of tie mounts for this purpose: screw-on bases require a hole to be drilled in a rigid material into which a plug is fixed. The base is then fixed with a screw that is inserted into the cavity. Once the base has been correctly installed, the cable(s) can be fixed to it using a suitable clamp.
